UV Ink Jet
Many of Technicote’s standard label constructions originally developed for flexographic printing are also compatible with industry-leading UV ink jet label printers, such as EFI Jetrion and Domino. Below is a listing of some of the most commonly requested substrates for UV ink jet print technology, however, please remember to test thoroughly prior to purchase, as results may vary by specific make/model of printer.
A 2 mil optically clear biaxially oriented polypropylene with exceptional clarity, excellent die-cut performance and great stiffness. Coated gloss surface is print-receptive for standard methods and some UV ink Jet printers.
A white, opaque multi-layer cavitated polypropylene film that has been designed for rigid and semi-rigid pressure sensitive applications that require excellent opacity and durability as well as exceptional graphic appeal. Coated two sides for outstanding ink and adhesive anchorage.
A top coated white polypropylene film with a gloss level of 48%. Product has excellent printability (thermal transfer printability with a resin ribbon only), temperature resistance & semi squeezable performance. This face offers balanced orientation for superior die cutting and high stiffness for conversion and automatic dispensing.
A 2.3 mil white BOPP with a 50% gloss level. Outstanding whiteness and opacity. Top coated for printability using standard print methods and thermal transfer (with resin ribbon only). This film has high machine direction stiffness and tensile strength for superior high speed label dispensing.
